Welcome. The purpose of this forum is to be a gathering place for the restoration of the Senate and People of Rome. This will be a legitimate government and is not a re-enactment or strictly cultural group. Because of the realities of politics we are organizing as a government-in-exile. Our claimed territories are the former territories of ancient Rome.
We are starting this effort by restoring the Roman Senate and other governing bodies. Additionally, there will be a council organized to write modern Roman law based on ancient and modern legal tenets. There will also be other councils organized for the restoration of various aspects of ancient Roman society and culture.
Everyone interested in seeing this goal fulfilled and working towards rebuilding the SPQR is welcome join our effort.
